WEA Scotland (The Workers' Education Association) provide education for adults returning to education after a long time, who have few or no qualifications, or who've had difficulties and barriers to learning. As a registered charity, WEA receive funding from the Scottish Government, local authorities, and from funds such as the European Social Fund. WEA work in partnership with local authorities, trades unions, community (and many other) groups. WEA have centres throughout Scotland, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Aberdeen.
