Tracy Packiam Alloway, PhD, has recently moved to the University of North Florida from the UK, where she was Director of the Centre for Memory and Learning in the Lifespan. She is the author of over 75 scientific articles and books on working memory and learning, including in individuals with ADHD. Her research has received widespread international coverage, appearing in outlets such as the Scientific American, Forbes, US News, ABC News, and NBC. She provides advice to the World Bank on the importance of working memory, including the Education for All project. The British Science Association awarded her the prestigious Joseph Lister Award in 2009 by the for bringing her scientific discoveries to a wide audience.
