Access to work
This session will run from 1:45 - 2:45.
Marion Ewan will talk about the aims of the Access to Work programme:
- To encourage employers to recruit and retain disabled people by offering practical help;
- To provide advice to disabled people and their employers to help them to overcome work-related obstacles resulting from disability;
- To enable disabled people to work on a more equal basis with their non-disabled colleagues;
- To offer grants towards additional costs incurred in the workplace as a direct result of a customer's disability.
There will be opportunities to ask questions.
